Our nieces came to stay. One of the many things I love about them is their creative drive. Almost as soon as they walk in the house they want to start drawing, making, creating.
This time eldest niece made a paper fortune teller…remember them? I loved making them as a child: pick a number > what is your favourite colour? > you WILL be rich! …or some such fortune.
Niece then made a second. When she laid them both on the table she realised they were different sizes and so changed her project to one of making ever decreasing sized fortune tellers. She made 9 in total, from one that took a whole A4 sheet down to one that couldn’t really be handled even by her 12 year old hands.
I found this little gem yesterday lost over the edge of the kitchen table.
Riches.
