25th March 2025
Week 3 contains one of the images that really stuck with me and now, 5 years on looking at it again, it still mentally transports me straight back to that day… the ‘shoppers in masks’.
It was such a surreal moment socially distancing in a huge long queue across the carpark. It’s interesting to look back and see I didn’t have a mask yet, I can’t remember when they became easier to get hold of, but I was definitely feeling the anxiety of being out in public. It’s also interesting to see 3 Zoom meetings in one week. I don’t really remember using it much before covid but it sure became a big part of life really quickly.
I can still remember that anniversary really clearly, in fact there were lots of events during that year that felt amplified and more memorable because of the circumstances we were in and the imaginative efforts that were made with fewer resources.
